March '26 Recap
almost everything i watched, read, and listened to this month
Film & Television
Bridgerton (S4)
Yes, I waited until both parts of the latest season of Bridgerton were out before I watched it. Yes, I hate that Netflix is splitting this show into two part seasons. Yes, I had seen some mixed reviews before going into it. Yes, I still loved it. I was really surprised by how quickly I got invested in Benedict’s season, but the minute I knew it was a Cinderella story, I was sold. I really enjoyed the chemistry between Yerin Ha and Luke Thompson as Sophie and Benedict, I thought they were both really captivating on screen. The supporting characters really made the season that much better too. The season is ranking pretty high in my overall Bridgerton season ranking, although nothing has yet to top season 2. I’ll be impatiently waiting to see how the next season ranks.
F1: The Movie
I was slightly behind on my Oscars screenings this year, out of the 10 best picture noms, I hadn’t seen 3 of them. I was shocked that F1 had been nominated for best picture, I hadn’t seen it when it was released last summer. Last fall though I actually got into F1 (the sport) so I decided before the Oscars to finally watch F1 (the movie). At least now I wouldn’t be completely lost when it comes to the world of fast cars and insane amounts of money that I cannot even begin to comprehend. It was fun, don’t get me wrong, I just wish I hadn’t been looking at Brad Pitt for 2 hours. My only other note is that there wasn’t nearly enough George Russell for me.
Books
Dracula
Please skip this section, I’m ashamed. This whole month I worked on getting through Dracula, I’m still not through it. Don’t judge me.
Music
Harry Styles - Kiss All the Time, Disco Occasionally
What can I say that hasn’t already been said? I missed Harry Styles, and I’m glad he’s back with new music. KATTDO is a wonderful album that will take you on a journey of self-discovery and optimism, with the occasional melancholic dance break. Carla’s Song really captures the essence of the whole album, you should listen to it. You should also read my piece about the album and what it all means to me.
Djo - The Crux
I did not watch the last season of Stranger Things, I’m sorry. I’m also a year late to listening to Djo’s album, The Crux. I will watch the finale of Stranger Things eventually, but for now I’m stuck on this album, it’s so fun. There’s an element of whimsy in the song writing that really got me. A really fun album from start to finish, Potion and Delete Ya are my personal favs.
(Rediscovering) Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana
The Hannahversary had me in a nostalgic chokehold for the last month, I was listening to 2000s Disney Channel music so much that it’s seeping its way into my regular Spotify algorithms. Hannah had so many good songs though, and so did Miley at the time. If another Hannah/Miley tour was ever put together, I’d be fighting the Ticketmaster battles for tickets.

I've been feeling so stuck as to what media to consume lately so this is super helpful. Harry's new music is a bit of a shift but strangely addictive...
I love The Crux!! That album was on repeat for me last year
